The FEL-1218 lead-acid battery is made in a hermetic case and is made according to the GEL (gel) technology. This technology involves the use of an absorbed electrolyte in a gel state rather than a liquid one. Such a structure is achieved by adding silicon dioxide to the electrolyte. Safe for use in residential premises, due to the fact that the GEL battery emits almost no harmful or dangerous gases and does not require maintenance during its entire service life.
